The Association derives funds from grants, financial funds, sponsors and contributions. We come in actions of the city to develop cooperation with Dorsten and Eurasburg in Germany, Mazamet and Saint-Vallier in France and Ivano-Frankivsk in Ukraine.

We participate in preparing mutual visits through arranging artistic and sport programmes of the exchange. Moreover, we organize discussions, international meetings and we host guests from abroad in our homes.
In mentioned cities - during Days of Rybnik in Dorsten or similar celebration in Mazamet or Saint-Vallier - artistic groups from Rybnik performed, young players contended and artists presented their works.
The following year we hosted guests who presented their artistic programme, cuisine and customs. Guests from Mazamet rarely came without their chef and plenty of cheese and wine. Rybnik’s city-residents could taste all the goods on the Market Square.
Our activities provide mutual recognition and understanding which help to break prejudice and stereotypes easier. All the people and friends who have returned to our city prove that our actions are efficient. We think that mutual recognition is a foundation of integration.
We would like to say thank you to everyone who was involved or still is in cooperation with our Association. We would also like to thank administrative authorities of Rybnik for financial support and cooperation.
