Kilka słów o realizacji projektu Old Times – New Times na Majorce.
12 lutego 2013 r.
Lądujemy w Barcelonie o 19:40. Lot do Palmy de Majorka mamy dopiero jutro rano. Zatrzymujemy się w Hotelu Aeropuorto. 
Czas oczekiwania umilamy sobie wycieczką ostatnim autobusem do centrum Barcelony. Udaje nam się zobaczyć i zrobić zdjęcia imponującego i wciąż niedokończonego dzieła Gaudiego - kościoła Sagrada Familia, przed wyłączeniem oświetlenia. Do hotelu wracamy taksówką.
13 lutego 2013 r.
Rano lecimy do Palma de Majorka. Po przybyciu i zakwaterowaniu w Hotelu Balanguera zaopatrzeni w mapę wyruszamy na zwiedzanie miasta. Piękna słoneczna pogoda, 160 C. ciepło, a my poubierani na zimowo, bo to przecież luty. Docieramy do najsłynniejszej budowli na wyspie - Katedry La Seu. Następnie spacerujemy nadbrzeżnym pasażem pomiędzy ładnie obsadzonymi zielenią skwerami z dziesiątkami knajpek. Wieczorem już razem z delegacjami: włoską, niemiecką i angielską wyruszamy na kolację do restauracji wybranej przez hiszpańskiego koordynatora projektu - Miguela Reus. Kasia otaczała nas wspaniała opieką, zapoznała nas z uczestnikami projektu. Zjedliśmy bardzo smaczną kolację i spędziliśmy wspólnie miły wieczór.
14 lutego 2013 r.
Po obfitym śniadaniu z aromatyczną kawą i słodkimi owocami całą grupą udajemy się do centrum kształcenia dla dorosłych „CEPA la Balanguera”. Uczestnicy projektu zapoznali się z szeroką ofertą kształcenia w ośrodku ( nauka: języków, zawodu np. fryzjerstwo, obsługi komputera). W przedstawionej prezentacji multimedialnej pokazano przeobrażenia jakie zaszły na wyspie na przestrzeni ostatnich lat. Następnie odwiedziliśmy Markiet Santa Catalina gdzie sprzedawane są wędliny, sery, wina, warzywa i owoce oraz kwiaty wyprodukowane i wyhodowane na wyspie a także duży asortyment ryb i owoców morza. Uczestniczyliśmy w wycieczce rowerowej wzdłuż portu, podziwiając malownicze wybrzeże Palmy, port z nowoczesnymi jachtami oraz plaże. Każdego dnia była okazja do degustacji regionalnej kuchni. Królowały oczywiście owoce morza pod rożnymi postaciami i wina.Z okazji przypadających Walentynek hiszpański koordynator wręczył każdej pani różę. Po obfitym biesiadowaniu udajemy się na spoczynek, do schludnych pokoików.
15 lutego 2013 r.
Wyruszamy na zwiedzanie północno-wschodniej części wyspy. Jedziemy bardzo krętą i wąską drogą na szczyt jedynej góry stołowej na Majorce o wysokości 542 m n.p.m., na której znajduje się monastyr Sentuari de Nostra Senyora de Cura.
Po ustąpieniu nisko sunących chmur podziwiamy wspaniałe widoki od Llucmajor aż do archipelagu Cabrery. Na terenie monastyru można zwiedzać ogrody, kaplicę i muzeum oraz dokonać zakupów w sklepie z pamiątkami. Tego samego dnia jedziemy do Alkudi. Jest to miejscowość wypoczynkowa na północy wyspy słynąca z piaszczystych plaż. Zatrzymujemy się na Playa de Muro w zatoce która jest przedłużeniem plaży Alcudia (w sumie 4200m długości i 30m szerokości). Plaża pokryta jest wydmami i dającymi cień piniami. Posiada łagodne zejście do morza. Pomimo tego ,że plaża o tej porze jest pusta, jest okazja posłuchania szumu fal, pozbierania muszli oraz zamoczenia nóg. Następne nasz cel to gospodarstwo agroturystycznego Monnaber Vell w okolicy Campanet, mieszczącego się w zabytkowym kamiennym dworku. 
Pierwsze wzmianki o jego budowie sięgają 1236 r. W 1998 r posiadłość została przekształcona w hotel agroturystyczny. Stopniowo modernizowany do 2005 r składa się z części hotelowej, restauracji, tarasu, basenu i ogrodu z wyborem aromatycznych ziół. Nieruchomość znajduje się na 40 ha użytków rolnych i 120 ha lasów i gór. W okolicy rosną drzewa oliwne, migdałowe i chleba świętojańskiego a na pastwiskach pasie się trzysta owiec. Spacer po ogrodach wśród pasących się owiec i cieszących oczy kwiatów drzew migdałowych to wspaniały relaks który na długo zapamiętamy.
Podczas obiadu gospodarze serwują nam wspaniałe miejscowe danie - jagnięcinę z dodatkami, deser oraz miejscowe wino. W drodze powrotnej zatrzymujemy się w fabryce sztucznych pereł Orquidea, która została założona w 1952 roku i posiada największą wystawę tych klejnotów na Majorce. W pomieszczeniach fabryki udostępnionych zwiedzającym, można zobaczyć proces formowania pereł oraz dokonać zakupów.
Wieczór spędzamy jak zwykle w bardzo uroczym miejscu. Jemy dobre miejscowe potrawy i oczywiście pijemy dobre wino. Jak zwykle, wszystko co dobre szybko się kończy. Wracamy do hotelu, każdy udaje się do swojego pokoju. Szkoda, że sobota jest dniem odjazdu.
16 lutego 2013 r.
Kasia udaje się na podsumowanie koordynatorów podsumowujące nasz pobyt. Ponieważ wylot mamy dopiero o 1700, idziemy na pożegnalny spacer po centrum Palmy, w promieniach południowego słońca. 
Wracamy do Katowic przez Barcelonę o 2315. Pobyt na Majorce był krótki, ale pozostawił w naszych głowach wiele przyjemnych wrażeń zachęcających do powrotu w to cudowne miejsce. Wspaniała jest idea spotkań integrujących ludzi z różnych zakątków Europy. Nie ma piękniejszej integracji jak wspaniali ludzie w pięknych miejscach. No i oczywiście poznanie historii “starego i nowego czasu”, hasła stanowiącego motto programu unijnego.

Old Times, New Times Partnership Project
12th of February
We are landing in Barcelona at 19.40. Palma flight we have tomorrow morning that's why we are staying in Aueroporto hotel .We decide to please ourselves visiting Barcelona by night. We take the last bus to the centre. We manage to see and take photos of the breathtaking and unfinished Gaudi masterpiece-Sagrada Familia just before the lights go off.
13th of February
Early in the morning we set off for Palma. After checking- in in the Balangurea hotel with map in our hands we dash for the sightseeing of the city. It's a beautiful, sunny weather, 16 degrees but we wear winter clothes as it is February we think. We reach to the most famous building of the island-La Seu Cathedral.
Then we have a stroll by the shore among marvellous green bushes , trees and spring flowers and many cosy cafés.
In the evening together with other delegations: Italian, German and English we depart for dinner chosen by Miguel our Spanish coordinator. Kasia our coordinator who takes care of us , introduces us to all the participants. We have a delicious supper and we spend a very nice evening together.
14th February
After a square breakfast we have, served with aromatic coffee and sweet, mouth-watering fruit, the whole group together visit Cepa la Balanguera Adult Educational Centre. 
The project participants get to know about the educational offer if the school;languages, hairdressing, computer studies. We have a chance to learn about the changes in the recent years the multimedia presentation shown. Afterwards we visit the Santa Catalina Market where the regional sausage, ham, wine, fruit and vegetables are sold and we are astonished by the great amount of seafood and fish produced and sold in the capital of Mallorca. As a part of our program we participate in the bike trip along the coast where we can observe the old and the new-brand new liners and modern boats as well as old , fishing boats which are the example of the old, rural times in Mallorca. Each day we have a chance to try delicious, regional Spanish cuisine with tasty seafood and wine. As we visit Palma in the time of the Valentines Day the Spanish coordinator hands each lady a rose which is a very nice and pleasant moment during the supper. After the meal spent in the multinational and multi cultural company, richer of new experiences and knowledge we reach our cosy hotel.
15th of February
We set off towards the north-east part of the island.
We are going very steep, winding road to the top of the only mountain in Mallorca 542 meters high where the Nostra Seniora de Cura Monaster is situated. When the thick fog, which surrounded the hill, disappears we are able to admire the marvellous views spreading from the Llucmajorn up to the Cabrery archipelago. The monastery area includes the gardens, the chapel, the museum and the souvenir shop where we can buy some nice gifts. The same day we set off for Alcudia. It's a holiday destination most eagerly visited by the Germans. It is situated in the north of the island famous for its sandy beaches. We have a chance to soak our feet in the bay in Pllaya de Muro which belongs to the Alcudia beach all together 4200m long and 30 meters wide. Pine trees growing on the beach give a very shadow in the summer. At this time of the year it is empty we are the only visitors and the Polish group because of obvious reasons is especially charmed by the sea and eagerly takes off the shoes and jump into the sea. It is a great occasion to breath deeply, pick up some shells and listen to the sound of the waves.
Our next destination is agro touristic farm Monnaber Vell in Campanet, situated in the stone mansion. The origins of the place are as old as 1236. In 1998 the place was transformed into a agro touristic hotel. Presently the hotel consists of the restaurant, the pool, the terrace and the garden full of aromatic herbs. The mansion is surrounded by a huge area of forests growing on the mountains. The area is well known because of its olive trees, almonds and sheep breeding. The stroll we had among the beauty of the nature there is a great experience which will stay in our memory for long.
During the supper the owners of the place serve us delicious lamb meal with tasty starters and locally produced wine.
On the way back we stop in the pearls factory Orquidea which was set up in 1952 and can be proud of the greatest collection of pearls in Mallorca. In the factory building we have a chance to see the pearls production process and also buy some lovely pearl jewellery.
Traditionally the evening is spent in a charming place. We eat local dishes ad drink wine and enjoy the time spent with our friends from Europe.
16th February
In the morning our coordinator has a staff meeting and we have a chance to experience the atmosphere of Mallorca for a few more hours. 
We have a stroll in the centre of Palma in the rays of winter-spring sun.
We are coming back to Katowice with a stopover in Barcelona.
The stay in Palma is short but we will remember it as a very pleasant experience encouraging us to come back in the marvellous island with its food, architecture, weather, people and the unique atmosphere.
The idea of international and multicultural meetings of people from different parts of Europe gathered together in one place to share experience, talk, learn form each other and feel the atmosphere of friendships, all that is the essence of Grundtvig partnership Project program idea.
